Clifford's Tower- A showcase site for this major historical monument in the United Kingdom. Interestingly, this site is in danger from property developers and because of this, the site has an unusual feature. This is an online petition where people from all over the world can leave their thoughts about the proposed development in this historic city. This has been drawn to the attention of the governmental decision-makers and this site shows an unusual, but effective, use of the web. Launched July 2002.
