International Quiksigns produces top quality
signs of every type
Established in 1990 by Paul
Rabinowitz, International Quiksigns is ideally located just
east of Federal Highway on the 17th Street Causeway in Fort
Lauderdale. The company can manufacture virtually every
conceivable type
of sign, including banners, marine vehicle
lettering, neon and full color digital graphics. Bass
Pro Shops, Richard Bertram Yachts/Allied Marine Group, Sea
Escape and Alamo/National Car Rental are some of the
International Quiksigns' local clients.
"Five years after opening at the 17th Street location we
opened an office in Orlando," Paul said. "And,
last September we opened another office in downtown Fort
Lauderdale." Paul continued, "We purchased new equipment
for full color printing and decided we needed the visibility
of a downtown location. We also offer trial graphics for
attorneys and it's easy for them to get to us."
"In addition to doing a lot of work with real estate
companies, we do a tremendous amount of business with the
marine industry and with their brokerage firms. On 17th
Street, we're close to the Intracoastal Waterway and
convenient to so many marine businesses," Paul pointed out.
"We also offer 22 karat gold lettering on signs, which is very
popular for yachts."
Quiksigns has an art graphic department for design, a
production department, installation crews and a special
department just to produce neon signs.
"Neon is still
very popular and we produce it all in-house, which allows us
to meet critical deadlines. "Paul remarked.
"When Quiksigns first started, we operated with just two
people. Currently, we have between 25 and 30 employees,
depending upon the demand," Paul noted. "The majority of
our business is either repeat, referral, drive-by or walk-in,
and we do get a lot of calls from the yellow pages. We
pride ourselves on producing the best quality signs at the
most competitive prices."
Paul started his career at AT&T, managing their advertising
and graphics department in Coral Gables. During that
time, he obtained experience with different signage for their
corporate clients and internal sales campaigns.
"I researched the sign business for about a year and a half
before making my move to open International Quiksigns.
It was definitely a good move," he added.
Paul was proud to point out
that Quiksigns produces the posters of the quarterly Regent
Bank Business Partner articles that are displayed in all of
the Bank's office lobbies. "I'll be there this time," he
smiled.
