The design challenge was to create a backdrop that would enhance the opulent interiors without detracting from them. Owner and head designer, Louis Shuster, suggested that a neutral palette would be appropriate to showcase his work and Tangled Spider's Andy Royston worked with a variety of subtle colors and hues.

The front end of the site and the company's portfolio are flash-driven, creating a movie effect. When viewers arrive at the site, Louis Shuster's unmistakable signature appears and is transformed into a pencil sketch of an interior. As the words 'where dreams become reality' are shown on the screen, that pencil sketch, with carefully considered timing, is itself transformed into a beautiful Shuster interior.

The viewer is then, in Shuster's own words "taken on a wondrous journey".

In the portfolio, the luxurious interiors are presented to the viewer almost in the form of a slideshow - teasing the viewer with glimpses of the interiors as they slide into view, interspersed with descriptive and powerful words.

It was important to tell the viewer about the personalities behind the company and portrait photographer Diane Bradford was commissioned to capture these personalities on film. The result is a striking series of portraits.
