The
Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival
It
was important to bring together the name of the festival with its
online acronym, FLIFF, in order to help promote the website amongst
festival-goers, but also to help create a new FLIFF brand awareness.
This had to be effective not only during the festival itself, but
also during the year, as fundraising activities take place.
The
FLIFF logo styling was kept firmly within houstyle elements established
many years ago. Sometimes new logos and marks grow quite naturally
from well established rules. The existing festival logo offers all
sorts of visual devices to build merchandising ideas.
In 2002 Tangled Spider added a distinct color treatment which will
be developed into 2003 with a new sub-brand and a new color Scheme.
